| Step 1 Feed the loose strap into the ratchet and pull tight to desired length. | Step 2 Operate the ratchet to desired tightness. |

| Step 3 Take tail end of the strap and insert into the slotted handle. Rotate the handle away from you and wind up excess strap. Then lock the left knob. | Step 4 Lock ratchet. |
